Otherwise, we will visit another place that is away from home. I just wonder why people wanted to be away from home for sometime. Maybe because we wanted to see other places and it gives us an encouragement to travel with the family.

Looking at my students made me feel great after giving them time to express themselves through their works of art. One of my subjects taught is “Art Appreciation” and last Prelim one of our topics was about arts and craftsmanship. So I let them do something based on their feelings or imagination. Of what they can do as far as art is concerned. It was a memorable time for them since some of them did it for the first time. They made something and they liked it.

The first time when I asked them to draw something, almost everyone made a sigh because they could not imagine drawing something by themselves. Everyone seems to escape from it. But when I insisted and forced them to do it that’s the time that they started thinking of what they can do to make a higher and reasonable grade.

Try to look at them… They seemed to be smiling all throughout the picture taking activity, huh!

This is the cool place my son loved with his cousins. When he learned swimming at the age of 2, he would cry when he’s not allowed to swim. Now that he grew fast, he swims on his own but I always ask hubby to watch over him. He’ll be turning 9 this month but for me, he’s still my baby and still young to explore more. he still needs someone to look after him at times….

We’ve been to this place the other day. It was full of surprises for hubby since it was his birthday. It’s a 4 storey-building with all the amenities that you could name. When you stay for a night you will have 20% discount on all the massage that you desire. They have the sauna, swimming pool near the restaurant. They even have the gym for you to loose your weight for a moment, lol! They provide breakfast and it’s free of charge. We enjoyed swimming and eating. It’s really great to be there. It is the 5 star hotel here in Bacolod City. It is the so-called L’Fisher Hotel. A lot of tourists are staying because of the nice place and the swimming pool on top of the building. You will enjoy even just to eat in the restaurant near the swimming pool. It’s cool

Visiting the schools near the mountains is something I desire. One time 2 months ago I was able to visit this school together with my best friend since college. We were able to meet and we reminisced our memorable days. We judged in a singing contest and it’s fun to be with friends once again and had the opportunity to be a blessing to students.It’s a memorable experience.

We received certificates and tokens. It took us an hour of travel from the city. If given a chance I would love to be back.

Every now and then we went to this place known as “The Ruins.” A place where many tourists visit and stay for relaxation and enjoyment. It was known as such because it was ruined by fire done by people who wanted to have power during the early years when our place was discovered. So, when we had friends coming and visiting us for the first time we would usually bring them here. It’s a nice place when you go around the area until you reached the upper part of the mansion. They developed the place and prepared some food for the tourist to enjoy at a reasonable price.

We had been here twice, and one of our friends will be having their wedding celebration early next year. Happy Scenic Sunday everyone.

We had been to this place every now and then. When we had friends coming from different places around the Philippines or those coming from different countries we usually bring them in this place. It’s cool, they enjoyed the peaceful place. You could even eat here near the restaurant around. Although you can’t find it here but on the side food is prepared for you to buy and try. The water flowing attracted the people and the surrounding is full of surprises. It is located in the middle of the hacienda. There are people living near the area but can’t get inside unless they will pay for the entrance fee and pass the guard on duty. Since this place was protected by the relatives of the late owners, not everyone could come in. It has been a mansion  of the late hacienderos (a family who owned a huge land) and was ruined by the warriors who wanted to destroy and get the land by force. There are places that I like to visit again and again. Places that have a part in my being and becoming what I am now. Places that have a part of my history and my story. As a family, we treasure all the happy and memorable moments we have had and we tried to go back to the basic and the place that is so memorable to us. My sisters and brother enjoy doing it I mean visiting the place before but at this time we minimize in going there since we have our own work and family to take care of. At least, our children have had the fresh experience when they were still small. Going up and down while sliding in the hill with others and enjoying the ride in the branch of the coconut. It’s fun and they missed it. Maybe we could go back to the place where we belong…
