Alashan Agate (阿拉善玛瑙) is a type of banded chalcedony found in the Alxa (Alashan) region of Inner Mongolia, China. It is formed from ancient volcanic activity and mineral-rich sedimentary deposits. Known for its unique concentric patterns and earthy color palette (ranging from cream, caramel, ochre to brown), it is highly valued for both its natural beauty and spiritual symbolism.
